Free Guy was such a pleasant surprise! I really didn’t think I’ll be catching this at the cinemas but after hearing the positive buzz around the film and when Reel Cinemas by Emaar sent invites for the #UAE #Premiere at #DolbyCinema, I was definitely intrigued. Ryan Reynolds plays a character that’s not so different from the wise-cracking & sarcastic persona that he has decided to embrace off-late (if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it) but it’s perfect for this kind of #Film. The movie’s concept of a #VideoGame with #NPC’s becoming sentient is a brilliant hook that is genuinely well executed as a fun & offbeat romantic comedy. Movie Name: 6 Underground “Somewhere at Netflix someone thought to give Michael Bay 150m USD for an action film and expected a decent film.” SharpRatings: 2 - #Terrible This expensive film from #Netflix is long serious of black jokes, loud and extensive action and a messy plot that revolves around 6 characters that are not really interesting. #6Underground is directed by #MichaelBay and contains everything an average Bay movie has to offer. Loud images, slow-mo action, fast-moving camera and a lot of explosions. And that is what 6 Underground offers. I can't even talk about the story because it really didn’t make sense to me, what I got was there were 6 guys who were lead by One (#RyanReynolds), who try stop a coup in a country or maybe want to do a coup. However, these 6 have their own personality which in comparison to Bay movie are perfect. know exactly what I expect of Bay and his brainless movies. His projects are not hard to enjoy if you leave your brain at the door before watching. However, there was something so off about this, something so deeply vulgar and crass, that I just couldn't enjoy 6 Underground. The movie did have potential, somewhere I believe but it is spoiled by the severe over the top profanity, obscene sexual content, and stomach-wrenching gore. But as many Bay movies the action is there it's very hard to follow because of quick edits and fast-moving camera. Other than the film does nothing to bring my excitement up, some jokes are funny but they are rare. The whole film felt like Netflix advertisement for #AlfaRomero, the car featured more than the story. At 2 hour-long this expensive Netflix movie contains no storyline, flat characters, and editing that will give you epilepsy. Drawback Plot. Characters.
