Just working along, when it hit me that Sean Astin should be brought into the MCU in Phase 4. He should play the role of Thanos' younger brother, Thikey.

And, it's thoughts like these which prevents Disney from allowing me to direct any of their films.

Over my glorious vacation I got a chance to meet the Goonies; needless to say by my reaction, I was stoked. I had a great time thanks to Jason Wilson and Dawn Morningstar. You guys were amazing and I had a blast; again thank you. More pics later!

Sean mentioned wanting to go to the Clinton library in his panel if anyone could help him get in....so I told him I got you and he said "seriously, in an hour or so?" I said "yeah let's go!" But that was that....I think he was serious and probably would've gone with if we had hung around....missed opportunities...

Graduate school has many perks--including the opportunity to hang out with actor Sean Astin. We discussed Rudy: Movie as well as one of his earlier roles, Memphis Belle, which afforded us time to chat some WWII history and film production stories. Naturally, he also spoke about The Lord of the Rings Trilogy and Stranger Things. The theme of his main talk at Penn State Harrisburg Thursday night was mental health awareness, of which he is a vocal proponent. A very nice guy!

Met Sean Astin @seanastin at the Edmonton Expo and got to talk to him for a while when he was just supposed to be signing autographs but took the time to talk to me about how he started and how hard it was to get roles until he got his role on Lord of the Rings. Just becasue you are an actor when you were a child doesn't guarantee you for roles. He had to go through 1000 auditions till he got one! He gave me a lot of advice and tips and he gave me an autograph, told me to nail those auditions and drew a little me doing voice acting! He is friends with my voice acting teacher @brendanhunter 😃 Such an amazing actor and all round guy! You are awesome for taking the time to talk to me Sean!

I put this guy on the spot, but he gave me some great, impassioned acting advice that I’ll definitely take to heart.
