Location: 100% remote

What you will do:
Provide application support for JIRA to Engineering and the rest of the business
Onboard new teams to JIRA and help existing teams optimize their workflows
Analyze requests for new JIRA functionality, implement new features, triage incoming support requests and handle or route appropriately
Provide systems-level support for the Atlassian (JIRA and Confluence) service and underlying apps (such as Insight, advanced roadmaps, etc.)dependencies
Champion process improvement with customer teams and provide best practices when requirements are vague or inefficient
Skills:
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Extensive experience as a JIRA administrator, with hands-on experience configuring and supporting the application
Extensive experience with scripting and programming such as Python, Groovy and BASH
Deep knowledge of custom workflows, configuring screens, fields, project schemes, and ScriptRunner for JIRA
Familiar with the Atlassian product life-cycle as it relates to upgrades and installing/configuring new add-ons
UNIX and network fundamentals desired (particularly in AWS environments) and experience with modern systems management tools like ansible, and Docker
Strong collaboration and customer service skills with the ability to build trust among IT and customer stakeholders
EXPERIENCE:
4 Year/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (1 – 3 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor’s) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, Information Technology or Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience
Experience administering and managing JIRA Data Center
Experience with scripting and programming such as Python, Groovy and BASH
Experience with Linux Administration
Experience with migration to atlassian cloud is a plus
