Introduction:

After General Motors' discontinuation of Hummer Brand in 2010, now, has a comeback in 2022 as an all-electric sub-brand of GMC. General Motors is now reinventing Hummer for the electric era. The Hummer brand which was forgotten will now appear firstly as a Pickup and then as an SUV. 

The new Pickup has a power of 1000 horsepower and uses three electric motors. It offers an estimated range of 329 miles in a single charge. It can jump to 60 miles just in 3.3 seconds. It has removable roof panel, adjustable air suspension etc. It can be driven diagonally with its cool four-wheel steering feature.

Hummer EV Motor, Power and Performance:

Hummer EV has setup with three electric motors that makes 1000 horsepower. All-wheel drive is standard and it can leap to 60 mph jus in 3.3 seconds. Its freedom launch control is very nice.

Towing and payload capacity:

When we talk about towing and payload capacity, GMC claims that the Hummer EV pickup can tow a load up to 7500 pounds.

Range Charging and Battery life:

The Hummer EV uses GM's new Ultium battery-pack technology and boasts an estimated 329 miles of driving ranges per charge.  The Hummer uses an 800-volt electrical architecture with 350-kilowatt fast-charging capability. And GMC claims that charger will add 100 miles of charging just in 10 minutes. For buyers who don't have any DC fast charging stations nearby, the Hummer EV can also charge on regular public charging terminals or at home via a provided adapter.

Interior, Comfort and Cargo:

Earlier Hummers were mainly SUVs, but now Hummer EV takes the form of a crew cab pickup truck with five foot long bed. When in place, the transparent panels are akin to a normal panoramic glass sunroof but lifting them off and stowing them in the Hummer EV's front trunk gives the truck a convertible vibe.

Safety and Driver Assistance Features:

GM's Super Cruise hands-free driving mode is a standard feature and we've found it works quite nicely.
