Key Qualifications

10+ years of relevant work experience.

Proven experience using Tableau, SQL, Python, Data Warehouse.

Project Management certification a plus.

Strong communication and presentation skills, written and verbal, to all levels of an organization, with the ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience.

Experience in directing people (lead, delegate, motivate) and key operational processes.

Good understanding of Finance and Business Intelligence concepts to drive issue resolution.

Experience in Finance, Accounting, Operations, Management Consulting, or other high-performance organizations desirable.

Experience driving cross-functional efforts across major technical fields: software, hardware, and quality assurance.

Champion system adoption and gain consensus for the strategy and roadmap from partner teams through collaboration, documentation, and negotiation that effectively influences peers and senior management.

Hands-on experience in building BI and data-viz solutions with Tableau, SQL, Python, and other tools.

Previous programming experience is required.

Description

We are looking for an individual who has the right mix of technical and project management skills to successfully refine and deliver strategic initiatives in a constantly evolving environment. You have a consistent track record of delivering complex and innovative projects that meet and exceed business requirements on time and within budget.


Your responsibilities will include:


- Manage the development and deployment process of DSI products and projects.


- Coordinate departmental or cross-functional teams, focused on delivering new or upgrading existing products.


- Monitor the project from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules. Report on these items to key internal and external partners.


- Organize cross-functional activities, ensuring completion of the project i.e. product on schedule and within budget constraints.


- Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs.


- Use current programming language and technologies, write code, complete programming, and perform testing and debugging of applications.


- Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.


- Understand high-level business, functional and technical solution requirements, and be able to facilitate communication and coordinate discussions that drive decisions at the appropriate stage of the process.


- Drive promotion and adoption of program and project management standard methodologies.


- Build BI and data-viz solutions to enable users data-driven decisions and answer complex business questions.


- Manage oversight and management of projects for the following platforms Data Warehousing , Data Integration , Analytics – Dashboard - Web and Tableau Reporting ( Teradata, AWS, Dremio, Snowflake, MemSQL, Tableau).


- Author project documentation including Project Charters, Schedule, Status Dashboard, Timeline visuals using JIRA/Confluence/Tableau.


- Escalate issues to Management as needed with discretion.


- Some international travel may be required.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's/Master's degree in CS/CE or equivalent field
