The people who survive find themselves in a situation that takes a "generation" worth of effort to get out of. I am a Kashmiri Pandit who lived through the mass exodus of our community in 1990 and happen to grow up in very similar circumstances. While I cannot do anything, I do empathize with Ukraine and wish that no one else go through this ever again. !!
