Last body recovered Tara Air plane crash site:

Rescuers on Tuesday recovered the last body from the wreckage site of the Tara Air plane that crashed in Nepal’s mountainous Mustang district on Sunday, confirming the death of all 22 people on board, including four Indians.
Authorities in Nepal resumed their search operation on Tuesday morning to retrieve the last body, a day after rescuers recovered 21 bodies from the wreckage site of the turboprop Twin Otter 9N-AET plane that crashed in the mountainous Mustang district amidst bad weather.
“The last dead body has been recovered. Arranging to bring the remaining 12 dead bodies from the crash site to Kathmandu,” Nepal Army Spokesperson Brigadier General Narayan Silwal tweeted.

Nepal’s Tara Air flight crash:

AN AIRCRAFT with 22 people onboard, including four Indians from Thane, went missing in Nepal on Sunday morning with senior officials citing witness accounts of a “loud sound” and “fire” from near a remote, mountainous area in the western Mustang district to say that the plane crashed and that they “are prepared for the worst”. A Nepal Army search team is expected to reach the site on Monday.

The Indians on board have been identified as Vaibhavi Bandekar, Ashok Kumar Tripathy, Dhanush Tripathy and Ritika Tripathy.

According to local police in Thane, Ashok and Vaibhavi were separated but had travelled with their two children to Nepal to visit the Muktidham temple, a Vaishnavite shrine about 18 km away from Jomsom airport where the aircraft was headed.
