On the 5th of June, the leaders of some of the world's richest countries (including three EU member states 🇩🇪🇫🇷🇮🇹) came together for the G7 2021 Summit. During this informal meeting, finance ministers agreed to implement a global corporate tax of 15% targeted at tax-avoiding multinationals and tech companies. This is a historic moment for not just Europe but the world! 🌍 Volt Belgium believes that taxation is the price that we pay for civilisation and that everyone, from ordinary individuals to massive conglomerates, should pay their fair share.
