However, since taking the reins, the Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Janša has decided to pursue grudges with the EU institutions, accusing them of double standards when implementing the rule of law. ⚖️ Mr Janša, who likes to style himself as a ‘strong man’ like Victor Orbán, has used the presidency to pick fights with the EU, rather than as an opportunity for Slovenia to guide the direction of the EU.
