    Position Summary: This position assists and supports the Bakari Center Program Manager to plan, design, monitor, and implement systemic practices and continuous improvement activities that enhance the effectiveness of program operations. The overall purpose is to create accountability with a focus on monitoring compliance and quality assurance and enhance program outcomes through Evidenced Based Practices and evaluation. The Center is licensed under DCF 52 to provide a Type II residential treatment facility for 24 youth (ages 12-17). Residents include adjudicated youth under Department supervision including youth in the Milwaukee County Accountability Program; Multi-system youth (Delinquency and CHIPS) in transition; Wraparound Milwaukee youth; Youth who are receiving Aftercare upon release from a juvenile correctional facility; and, Other youth as approved by DCSD.

    Essential Functions:
    1. Assist Residential Care Center Program Manager to ensure quality assurance, continuous improvement, and compliance with contract, regulatory, treatment model, and agency requirements.
    2. Daily monitoring of Medication Administration Records.
    3. Dispense medications to youth as scheduled in accordance with Bakari Center policies and procedures including accurate documentation.
    4. Ensure that the Center’s food service meets the requirements of DCF 52.
    5. Conduct electronic and/or paper file audits on staff and youth records.
    6. Conduct facility audits to ensure compliance with DCF 52.
    7. Develop, implement, and monitor an ordering system for Bakari Center supplies.
    8. Develop and support the implementation of the daily activity schedule.
    9. Develop template/model for program plans, goals, and policies and procedures in conjunction with Program Manager.
    10. Develop training plans for new staff and assist in facilitating training.
    11. Monitor fidelity to treatment model and evidence-based practices.
    12. Ensure that services reflects the objectives of the treatment model and includes significant attention to youth engagement, positive reinforcement, and use of evidence-based best practices for a high-risk, vulnerable youth population.
    13. Assist implementation of outcome measurements and evaluation by obtaining information and feedback from both internal (clients and staff) and external (funding sources and other community agencies) customers.
    14. Keep appropriate documentation for all funding sources.
    15. Uphold and promote a positive and supportive culture for youth and staff.
    16. Maintain client confidentiality within all written and verbal communications
    17. Adhere to state licensing requirements.
    18. Adhere to WCS Policies and Procedures.
    19. Other duties as assigned.

    Honorary General Secretary, AISCD, G Suresh Kumar said the first World Deaf T20 cricket championship will be held in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala from January 10 to January 20, 2023.
    "This championship was planned to be conducted in 2020-2021 but due to the sudden outbreak of coronavirus it was postponed first to 2022 and now fixed for January 2023,” Kumar said in a press statement.
    The All India Sports Council of the Deaf said it has got approval from the International Committee of Sports for the Deaf (ICSD) to host the first World Deaf T20 Cricket Championship in Kerala from January 10 to 20, 2023.
