As expected, the layoffs have started at Twitter and India seems to have been badly affected. Multiple reports suggest that most of staff in India has been fired. Some of the employees did take to Twitter to reveal that they had been laid off.

It’s not clear as to how many employees have been laid off. This comes as a part of global restructuring initiated by its new chief Elon Musk. However, multiple reports suggest that the company is looking to cut 50 per cent of its workforce and some reports suggest that Elon Musk Reportedly Fires ~79% Indian Staff of Twitter without any Prior Notice!
