Introduction

Strong understanding of Agile software development methodology.
Proven experience in delivering technical projects with sprint team(s) following Agile methodology.
Ability to work in a challenging, geographically distributed and part-remote work environment.
Ability to formulate appropriate metrics and measurements around teams’ delivery and setup automated process for reporting of metrics.
Strong hands on experience in Jira (or equivalent tool) and Confluence (or equivalent tool).
Experience of effecting organisational change to achieve agility.
Experience working in fast paced and complex environment delivering complex programs/projects
Working knowledge of managing Java, APIs/Micro services development teams.
Working knowledge of release and change management process (ITIL).

What will you be doing?

Coach the stakeholders and teams in Agile values, practices, and rules
Acting as a servant leader, facilitate scrum ceremonies and regular stand-ups, Remove impediments to the teams’ progress
Ensure comprehensive and clear documentation of the architecture, designs and deliverables.
Understand the appropriate organisational policies and standards applicable teams’ work and guide them to deliver in accordance to those.
Initiates and manages the implementation plan, including all the activities that the business / operations / productions support teams needs to do to prepare for new technical components and technologies in production environment.
Ensures that realistic detailed sprint plans are prepared and maintained, providing regular and accurate reports on progress against plan to stakeholders as appropriate.
Ensure project dependencies and assumptions are factored into the planning process.
Ensures projects meet the desired requirements of accountable executives and that acceptance and handover to business as usual are managed against agreed acceptance criteria and to a defined plan.
