Full Job Description

The Division of Fiscal Services at the Department at the Virginia Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) supports the Agency mission through the provision of quality financial management, administrative support, procurement and facilities management services. All financial support services are delivered with the goal of maximizing the use of the funds entrusted to the Disability Service Agencies by the Commonwealth of Virginia.
We are currently seeking and individual to provides users with Cardinal access. Maintains records, answers questions and concerns regarding security. Analyze issues raised by internal and external customers to resolve quickly and efficiently. Conduct security reviews of Fiscal related applications.
Provide support for Fiscal training and communications. Acts as the Backup Administrator for the eVA program. Acts as the Backup Contact for the Board Member Electronic Data Exchange (EDI) program as documented by Department of Accounts in the CAPP Manual and other DOA Directives. Provides back up to the Training and eVA Lead for Document repository and intranet website updates. Produces special projects, correspondence and presentations that are comprehensive and accurate.

Minimum Qualifications
Some increasingly responsible experience in Fiscal Services within a diverse public or corporate environment. Knowledge of concepts, principles, practices and techniques of program planning and administration; procedures and practices of basic research, data collection and conducting of statistical studies for data analysis; and electronic data exchange.

Knowledge of business intelligence tools; automated financial and accounting systems; principals of basic marketing and dissemination of promotional information and strategic planning principles and practices.

Skills in strong listening, group facilitation, and program coordination skills; program evaluation and management; using PC and mainframe based software and web based products. Strong customer oriented services and business communications. Attention to detail; exercising sound judgment; autonomous decision managing multiple tasks;

Ability to prioritize, coordinate, implement and manage multiple centrally administered programs.; autonomously interpret and apply State and Agency policy as it pertains to Fiscal Division products, programs, and services.
