Summary
Quality Assurance Analyst is to lead the operations organization in supporting the continued development of the quality management system. The majority of the Quality Analyst work will be done out in the field or in a generation plant. These roles will integrate with operations and will add value by taking challenges that front line leaders and their front line workers face and build solutions that drive safety, engagement, efficiency and effectiveness to the task level.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Demonstrated ability to influence management and front line workers
Works on the documentation development and change effort to establish ongoing sustainability within NIPSCO operations.
Works to identify policy, process, procedural, and work instruction gaps
Identifies processes and training gaps and implement corrective actions through training, system or process improvements.
Develops and documents existing and new work flows through the management and mobilization of SME's in Generation, Transmission and Distribution.
Assesses the appropriate data analysis, quality systems, and procedures to ensure the high technical integrity of a quality processes and results.
Assures compliance to company standards, policies, procedures and processes through support of a sustainable internal audit process.
Administers/facilitates document management tool to control organizational procedures.
Interacts with the system/application support group, management and the training center to ensure system, human and process fixes are carried through to completion.
Supports the overall vision and direction for the daily operations of the quality function, including auditing, process development, documentation and improvement.
Demonstrated ability to overcome significant organizational challenges through collaboration

Required Qualifications for Position

Bachelor's Degree in a STEM or business related discipline.
Strong knowledge and experience in technical procedure writing and implementation
Knowledge and functional experience in an ISO Quality Management Systems environment.
Outstanding PC/Systems knowledge and skills.
Strong leadership, communications and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate with all levels of employees, customers and outside professionals.
Experience implementing Lean tools and techniques
