About the Role:
The Senior Eagle ERP QA Developer designs, develops and implements test cases for the improvement of product quality. The position includes reviewing, duplicating, documenting, analyzing, identifying workarounds, suggesting solutions, recommending priorities, and reporting status of customer-reported issues.
What You’ll Do:
Receives and manages customer-reported issues and requests needing Product Development effort.
Configures systems to duplicate and document exact steps for issues to be fixed by Product Development.
Analyzes and documents business unit or customer enhancement requests in the form of a requirements specification.
Tracks open customer issues and requests.
Manages metrics and advanced reporting techniques.
Communicates with customers as needed to understand issues, requests, business needs, etc to determine value and overall priority recommendations.
Analyzes features and contributes to the design from the customer's perspective.
Partners across teams to support quality processes as a collaborative effort.
Independently owns projects.
Actively participates in requirements reviews and provides recommendations (SME).
Estimates new software changes from a testing perspective.
Develops, modifies, and executes software test plans.
What You Need to Succeed:
Experience analyzing business operations, use cases, and workflows.
Ability to articulate customer needs clearly both written and verbally.
Ability to vet and clarify customer-reported issues and enhancement requests.
Ability to configure Eagle systems for the purpose of duplicating issues.
Strong collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Experience designing, developing, and executing test cases, scripts, plans and procedures.
Experience establishing complete QA processes.
Extensive knowledge of QA tools and methodologies.
Proficiency in planning/estimating timelines for tasks and leading the team in meeting defined goals.
5/+ Years of applicable experience with software testing of business applications
2/+ years specialized industry experience
