Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain existing test infrastructure in the production floor
Bring up new test onfractructure on the production floor
Support improvements/upgrades to test infrastructure in the production floor
Support engineering in developing new test infrastructure
Support the smooth flow of material through test infrastructure in the production floor
Update and maintain test documentation
Provide test equipment related training to operators
Education & Experience
Minimum 3 yr. semiconductor or equipment maintenance or related experience.
BS or equivalent degree.
Skills
Knowledge of optics, mechanics and electronics.
Quick learner with abstract and foreign concepts.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong reporting, logging, documentation skills.
Great self-management & prioritization skills.
Strong direct ownership of projects and ability to successfully complete them within cross-functional teams.
Experience with MS Office and similar software.
Ability to support a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
Working Conditions
This position will support 24/7 factory operations inside a cleanroom.
Most of the time spent will be in full cleanroom attire in the facotry, some time will be spent in technician rooms and cubicles.
Must be a self-starter, able to work in high stress high paced environment.
Must be able to work from incomplete documentation and instructions.
Physical Requirements
Includes working on mechanical systems within a production cleanroom
Includes working with laptops & desktops within a production cleanroom
Requires bending at the waist and/or knees
Requires leaning/reaching into mechanical systems
Requires bundling/unbundling cabling on the floor
Requires lifting up to 50lb
Requires using microscopes and other metrology tools
Requires working in full cleanroom attire including laser safety goggles
Requires compressed shifts (12hr)
Holiday and overtime (with prior approval) may be required depending on production needs.
