What You'll Do

Meeting with development managers to discuss software specifications and controls.
Using the software as intended to analyze its functional properties.
Running test programs to ensure that testing protocols evaluate the software correctly.
Tweaking the software testing systems for maximum performance.
Finalizing and documenting testing procedures.
Completing final tests and creating test reports.
Presenting test reports to management and suggesting software fixes.
Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI/CD) process
Continuous integration/continuous delivery tools
Experience with build automation tools
Good understanding of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model and concepts
Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment
Expertise in root cause analysis, defect analysis, data analytics, cloud hosted solutions, virtualization, infrastructure, Agile methods, and DevSecOps.
Support an effective Change Management program
Ensure quality processes and procedures are followed to meet compliance quality requirements including ISO, CMMI, security and privacy
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse individuals and subject matter experts
Maintain quality standards across products and services by writing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Perform other duties as assigned


What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven work experience as a software test engineer.
In-depth knowledge of program testing software.
Knowledge of debugging code and/or software development languages a plus.
Experience working with popular operating systems including Windows and Linux.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to collate data and compile test reports.
Excellent software troubleshooting skills.
Ability to write complex software testing procedures.
Exceptional written and oral skills sufficient to communicate effectively with business stakeholders
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong sense of ownership and drive
One or more of the following certifications or demonstrated comparable experience:
