Risk and Control Objective

Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards.

What will you be doing?

Work as a hands on Developer on Document Management applications. Take accountability for self-reviewing code and performing unit testing.
Working as a collaborative team member and support the team to achieve their goals
Participate in Go / No-Go meetings and provide inputs from technical side.
Participate in Post Release Reviews to ensure all lessons learnt on technical things are documented and incorporated in future releases/projects.
Closely work with Project/Release managers & support them in all activities during the entire life cycle of the project. Assist with tracking and scheduling of deliverables.
Identify key design/build issues and develop options and recommendations to resolve.
End to end accountability for technical delivery of assigned projects with high volume and quality outputs.
Occasionally providing 3rd line support in investigating production issues and providing resolution
Producing and maintaining application code along with accompanying automated test suites

What We’re Looking For

Experience of .NET development
Experience of TDD toolset/framework.
Front end technologies experience
C# and VB.NET experience
Experienced with web services (SOAP & REST API) development and support
Experienced with hands on SQL and NoSQL databases e.g. MySQL, Oracle, Mongo DB etc
Working simultaneously on multiple projects and demonstrating strong reporting and communication
Ability to work with an existing body of code (maintenance, feature additions, debugging, etc.) and process Focused and make less dependent structures
Scripting experience – Unix/Linux
Experience with Development tools such as: Visual Studio, IntelliJ IDEA, Maven, TeamCity, Jira, GIT, Junit.
