Representative Responsibilities

Summary

Exercises own judgment within the parameters of defined policies, procedures and practices with limited guidance. Support and execute the testing/quality assurance needs of the enterprise business suite. Document testing outcomes. Applies business theories, concepts, principles and techniques of the business areas to recommend solutions and opportunities for process improvement. Participate in developing business solutions with low to moderate complexity. Responsible for business process designs, user guides, working closely with analysts to ensure technical documentation is consistent with business processes. Familiar with the development lifecycle. Supports the communication between technical and business areas. Participate in developing project plans. Work with cross functional teams.

Configuration and Process

Implement and maintain low to moderate business processes within the enterprise business application suite. Works as part of a cross functional team to implement and validate application configuration solutions. Knowledgeable of application and reporting tools with the ability to provide information with low to moderate complexity for the business area. Knowledge of project management methodologies and application development lifecycle. Share responsibility to create and maintain documentation in support of enterprise business applications.

Production Support

Provide support and resolution assistance for production and process issues. Troubleshoot and decipher error messages. Identify required resources to resolve minor to midsized issues. Utilizes appropriate Change Control methods to implement system solutions. Serve as a resource person for and as a liaison between Cincinnati Children's departments and Information Services. Support departmental efforts to improve customer satisfaction. Evaluate and review business processes to avoid potential issues as well as gathering information for future process improvement opportunities. Exercise good judgement and follow appropriate escalation procedure in accordance with information technology service level agreements.

Customer Service

Ensure outstanding end-user support is provided, including ongoing monitoring of service level agreements for incident management and collaboration with other areas to ensure customer-centered support. Adhere to and promote continual adoption of change management policies and procedures. Model outstanding customer service behavior, including timely and effective follow-up with customers.

Miscellaneous

Develop knowledge and professional skills through cross-training, literature and attendance at department meetings and vendor education. Develop and maintain positive relationships, both internal and external to CCHMC. Motivate people and encourage teamwork. Work well with others and foster a positive team environment. Develop training objectives. Prepare oral and written presentations. Conduct and participate in instructional seminars. Develop expertise in several Cincinnati Children's computer-based systems. Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in a related field
2-5 years of work experience in a related job discipline
