Key job responsibilities

You will work with Software Development Engineers to understand features and technical implementation. You will also work with groups such as Product Management, UX designers to understand customer usage models and develop test plans and suites that approximate real-world environments and regression tests driving the software development process toward quality-centric methodologies. You will develop automated tests to help fasten testing cycles and release faster to our customers. In this role, you will be responsible to deliver manual/automated solutions to test customer facing features.

QA Engineer would work with multiple stakeholders across functions and geographies for ensuring the quality of sync platform across array of supported devices.


Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant industry experience
5+ years of experience as a developer, QA Engineer, SDET or similar QA role
Experience writing test plans, test automation, and test cases
Knowledge of QA concepts and methodology
Knowledge of at least one scripting language: Python, Shell Scripting, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience validating consumer user interfaces
Experience working as embedded QA exercising AGILE methodologies
Experience working closely with development and business teams
Experience testing Android and/or iOS applications
Shows creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness
Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem solving skills
