Location/Division Specific Information:
Business Intelligence Delivery and Operations team is part of corporate IT function under Enterprise Technology Organization. BI Operations Team is responsible for availability of data service, data lake and analytics services for internal customers of Thermo Fisher Scientific

Experience in Oracle, SQL Server or Redshift type of market leading commercial databases
Experience in IT Service Management using ServiceNow

Tool & Technology Skills:
5+ Years of experience in Data warehousing and BI Development / Support
Strong SQL knowledge is expected.
Hands-on experience of Power BI for driving Analytics.
Knowledge in customization/administration and configuration of PowerBI is highly desirable
Proficient in Two components of MSBI (SSAS/Power BI). Proven experience in SSAS is Mandatory.
Solid knowledge of SSAS Cube building process including deployment, cube security.
Hands-on on any of the Self-Serve/Front-End Reporting tools like Power BI etc.
Knowledge in customization/administration and configuration of MSBI product suite is highly required
Strong SSAS Admin skills with knowledge of Windows platform. Ability to go through logs and troubleshoot the errors
Good performance Tuning skills. Ability to propose architectural changes to the SSAS environment as required.
Good Functional Knowledge in the areas of Digital marketing
Shall participate in on-call operations support
Provide timely resolution and support for issues reported through service now tickets and emails
Sound knowledge of IT Service Management
Keen interest to acquire performance Tuning skills
Knowledge on ETL/ELT (Data extraction, data transformation and data load processes) would be a Plus.
