Job Description:

This job position requires a Program Manager to drive Releases and Initiatives within a Software Solutions Global Program Office.

This position requires a technical software development program leader that has deep experience across the software engineering life-cycle from project initiation thru project closure. The candidate should have experience with traditional waterfall life-cycle methodologies as well as Agile, Scrum, and other hybrid project methodologies. The candidate should have a strong understanding of custom software development culture, terminology, and tools.

The successful candidate will partner with Product Management to implement their Roadmap and other release priorities. The Program Manager must understand the product development life cycle and guide development teams in managing delivery commits.

This role will also provide team guidance using the agile principles. Tool expertise is required in Jira, Confluence, SAP, Tableau, Salesforce and other tools. This individual must be able to influence all business partners, the Scrum Team, and leadership in making tradeoff decisions.

This is a challenging but professionally rewarding opportunity for a Technical Software Program Manager. The position will require someone with excellent communication skills and team-oriented leadership.

Required Skills:

10 years’ experience in Software Development Project/Program Management

5 years’ experience working in an Agile software development environment (i.e., Scrum, Kanban & SAFe).

5 years’ experience in managing large/complex cross-functional programs and resolving release / launch challenges

5 years’ experience in JIRA Agile metrics and/or Tableau or Power BI

3 years data analysis for reporting on portfolio metrics, offer opportunities, gross margin & headcount expenses

3 years Product Life Cycle tool migrations e.g., product data master or Jira Align or other process improvement initiatives

3 years working with Marketing or Sales Enablement on non-technical initiatives

1 year working in setting up demo servers and managing users / customer specific data configurations

Desired Skills:

Ability to manage Ambiguous and uncertain situations by engaging stakeholders, driving clarity and actions towards desired results.

Ability to assess potential risks to program objectives through assessment of metrics and developing insights from data and deep dives to drive mitigation actions.

Ability to coordinate across teams to develop options to mitigate issues and risks and influence decisions at required levels in the organization

Demonstrated success at building team relationships and partnerships across teams and partners

Candidate should have executive presence and advanced business presentation skills to be able to present to VP’s, SVP’s and above. Act as the primary interface for the business partners and the initiative.
