Job Description:
The Jira Align Administrator role will be involved in the continuous support and management of Jira Align’s implementation at Workday. The successful candidate has a passion for driving continuous improvement and thrives in an employee first, customer centric culture. Responsibilities
Recommend and implement best practices in Jira Align to ensure work aligns with the organizational strategic goals and roadmap
Provide outstanding support by troubleshooting and resolving Jira Align issues, and entering support tickets or ideas to Atlassian
Understand business needs and agile concepts to recommend Jira Align configuration and best practices
Create and update Jira Align documentation and training materials
Establish Jira Align standards across the organization to encourage consistency and efficiency
Support the roll out and onboarding of new teams to Jira Align
Organize and facilitate meetings with cross-organization representatives to identify and prioritize areas of focus, manage simultaneous programs, and ensure milestones and timelines are met
Focus on continuous improvement efforts to improve, simplify and streamline the way we develop and deliver products to our customers
Work collaboratively to influence and help the Product and Technology organization scale and work more efficiently
Communicate frequently and transparently to ensure all organizations are kept up to date on new initiatives, changes, and improvements
Define metrics that provide the key insights that drive the prioritization of programs and initiatives
Capabilities
3-5 years Jira Align Experience - hands-on experience and deep knowledge of Jira Align
3 years of Development Knowledge - understanding of agile development practices and ability to translate business needs into requirements
Demonstrated expertise in collaboration - builds strong connections across Products, Technology, Services, Sales, Privacy and Security, etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication - strong presence and ability to communicate appropriately across different levels and roles
Proven track record of Problem Solving - thinks about problems from different perspectives and leverages data driven analysis; proactively identifies challenges and roadblocks
Detail Oriented- awareness of operational metrics and success measures; tracks, coordinates and documents progress toward these key metrics
Results Oriented - works closely with key stakeholders to deliver initiatives and outcomes
