On Friday morning, the first day after Hanoi's authorities decided to remove 39 COVID-19 checkpoints in inner urban districts, traffic returned to many streets, with the number of people and vehicles singificantly higher than previous days of stringent lockdown and rigorous permit checks.
Hanoi will start to implement locked-down areas at the smallest scale to restore production and business activities, according to the municipal People’s Committee in yesterday's meeting.
