International Day of Living Together in Peace 2022:

A state of peace is widely defined as one that is free of conflict or disturbance. Peace is said to be the only possible way to end war and violence that is tearing our world apart. There would be no discipline and rule of law in a world without peace and in its absence, the world would be dominated by lawlessness and disorder. It is only peace that can help us progress and achieve developmental goals. Founded by the United Nations, 'International Day of Living Together in Peace' is celebrated annually on May 16 across the globe. The goal of the day is to promote global peace, tolerance, inclusiveness, understanding, and unity. Living together in peace, according to the United Nations, entails embracing differences and being able to listen to, identify, respect, and appreciate others, as well as living in a peaceful and united manner.
