It’s been a poetic week at the Mansion, and for the nation! Earlier this week, MJM co-hosted a Virtual Parlor Chat with WordUp Bookshop, and poet, Roberto Carlos Garcia, on the eve of the inauguration (read more about the event by clicking on our bio), and yesterday the world was spellbound by National Youth Poet Laureate Amanda Gorman's stirring performance of "The Hill We Climb" at the presidential inauguration. All around renaissance man and friend of MJM, Lin Manuel Miranda also recited Irish poet Seamus Heaney’s poem, "The Cure of Troy" at last night’s #inauguration celebration of President Joe Biden.
