Rajasthan Royals (RR) will pay special tribute to Shane Warne during their clash vs Mumbai Indians (MI) at Navi Mumbai's DY Patil Stadium. The franchise will wear a specially designed jersey in Warne's honour during the clash on Saturday evening.
Warne was not just RR's first-ever captain but also their maiden signing in the 2008 IPL auction. The Australian leg-spinner had led them to the title in the inaugural season of the league after beating MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings at the DY Patil Stadium in the final. The franchise will pay honour Warne at the same venue on Saturday.
