Punjab Govt Transfers IG, SSP And SP. Mobile Internet, SMS Services Suspended:

Mukhwinder Singh Chinna has been appointed as the new Inspector General of Patiala, while Deepak Parik has been appointed as the new Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of the city.

Wazir Singh has been appointed as the new Superintendent of Police of Patiala, ANI reported.
The Punjab government had earlier transferred Rakesh Agrawal, Nanak Singh and Harpal Singh, who were posted as the IG, SSP and SP of Patiala, with immediate effect post the violence in the city.
