Goa Assembly Election Results 2022 Live Updates | The Bharatiya Janata Party is gaining in the assembly election results on Thursday as it inches closer to a majority in the 40 member Goa assembly. 332 candidates are in the fray in the state where the election was held in a single phase on February 14. While the BJP and Congress-GFP fielded 40 candidates each, 39 candidates are in the fray from the Aam Aadmi Party. The coastal state has been at the centre of intense political tussle as parties woo independent candidates, who have largely held the key to government formation in the past.
