Rescue of Hindu Girls (1769):
The Karorsinghia misl resisted Ahmad Shah Durrani who defeated Marathas at Panipat. In 1758, Baghel Singh became the commander of misl and his first expedition took place in 1765 in which he defeated Najib-ud-daullah, the jagirdar of Saharanpur. Baghel Singh successfully repulsed Durrani's eight invasion in 1766 and injured Ahmad Shah Durrani in the Battle. Sikhs foiled the ninth invasion also and rescued hundreds of Hindu women and booty which the invaders were taking back to Kabul
