The Competition Commission of India has found that iPhone maker Apple abuses its market dominance and engages in unfair business practices, harming lakhs of app developers and consumers, TOI reported.

The report said that these findings may lead to fines of thousands of crores of rupees as well as restraining orders.

Notably, the probe against Apple has been underway since 2021 and may be heading for closure soon. After that, the CCI is likely to take strict action against the company.
