Jim Harbaugh’s success at Michigan this year appears to have rekindled interest from the NFL. But unlike previous years, it appears that interest might be mutual this time.
According to Hub Arkush of Pro Football Weekly, the Chicago Bears had a “brief phone conversation” with Harbaugh recently. The Bears are one of eight NFL teams currently looking for a head coach – and Harbaugh has prior ties to the team.
Harbaugh was a first-round pick by the Chicago Bears in 1987. He went on to start 65 games for them, and even led them to the playoffs.
