Rajasthan Royals put out a stunning video tribute for their former captain and mentor Shane Warne on Saturday, 30 April. Warne - who is a winner of the Indian Premier League with the Rajasthan Royals in the inaugural edition of the IPL recently passed away on 4 March in Thailand.
In memory of Warne, Rajasthan have decided to don a special jersey against Mumbai Indians, which they will wear as a tribute to the spin maestro.

Rajasthan Royals have provisionally risen to the top of the IPL 2022 Points Table after thrashing Faf du Plessis-led Royal Challengers Bangalore by 29 runs in Match No. 39 at the MCA Stadium in Pune on Tuesday (April 26). The Royals now have 12 points from 8 matches, same as Gujarat Titans who have played one game less.

However, the Royals have a better NRR of 0.561 as compared to Titans’s 0.396 which has put them on the No. 1 position. Hardik Pandya’s Titans can once against regain the No. 1 position by defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad in Match No. 40 on Wednesday (April 27).

After being bundled out for a paltry 68 against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore once again failed in the batting department while facing Rajasthan Royals on Tuesday night. After doing well with the ball and restricting Rajasthan for a modest 144/8, RCB’s woes continued as not one Bangalore batter posted a score of any significance after Virat Kohli walked in to open the innings with the captain Faf du Plessis. While Kohli could only manage 9 in the run chase, Faf did get a start but failed to get going. Glenn Maxwell departed for a golden duck and as for the match-winner and the run-chase expert Dinesh Karthik, he was run out.

Kuldeep Sen took 4/20 while Ravichandran Ashwin registered figures of 3/17 to bowl out RCB for 115 in 19.3 overs as RR climbed to the top of the IPL 2022 points table with a 29-run win.
