During the normal operation of cone crushers, internal parts contact each other, which will inevitably cause friction. Lubricating oil plays a key role in reducing friction and wear in this process. If lubrication is poor, friction will increase, which will generate too much heat, causing the machine temperature to rise, thus shortening the service life of the equipment. Therefore, lubrication is essential for the normal operation of the equipment.

Cone crushers use a thin oil circulation lubrication system. The lubricating oil is sucked into the oil pump from the oil tank through the stop valve, then flows into the filter for filtration, and then enters the cooler through two stop valves. After being controlled by the temperature switch and the flow switch, the lubricating oil is divided into two paths: one path enters the lower part of the eccentric sleeve, rises to the top along the gap between the main shaft and the cone bushing, then falls on the bevel gear, and finally returns to the oil tank through the lower oil return hole.

At the same time, another part of the lubricating oil rises to the spherical bearing through the small hole in the main shaft for lubrication, then falls on the bevel gear through the oil return hole of the bearing, and then returns to the oil tank. In addition, a part of the lubricating oil enters from the oil hole on the transmission shaft frame to lubricate the rotating bearing, passes through the oil return hole at the bottom of the small bevel gear and the oil filling hole on the transmission shaft frame, and finally returns to the oil tank through the oil return pipe.

Controlling the oil temperature, oil volume and oil pressure of the lubrication system is essential to ensure the normal operation of the lubrication system and the crusher. Under normal circumstances, the lubricating oil temperature of the cone crusher should be maintained between 30-45℃. The oil temperature of the lubrication system is jointly monitored and controlled by heaters, coolers, thermometers and temperature switches to ensure that the oil temperature is stable within the optimal range.
