Acting career:

Mann participated in youth comedy festivals and inter-college competitions. He won two gold medals at a competition at the Punjabi University, Patiala for the Shaheed Udham Singh Government College, Sunam.

Mann developed comedy routines about typical Indian issues such as politics, business and sport. His first comedy album was with comedian Jagtar Jaggi. Together, they made a television program called Jugnu Kehnda Hai for Alpha ETC Punjabi. Ten years later, they parted ways. Mann then formed a comedy partnership with Rana Ranbir. Together, they made the television program, Jugnu Mast Mast for Alpha ETC Punjabi. In 2006, Mann and Jaggi reunited and toured Canada and England with their show, No Life With Wife.

In 2008, Mann competed in the Great Indian Laughter Challenge on Star Plus which increased his audience.

Early life Of Baba Deep Singh Ji:

Baba Deep Singh Ji was born on 26 January 1682 to his father Bhagta, and his mother Jioni. He lived in the village of Pahuwind in Amritsar district. He was born into a Sandhu Jat Sikh family.

He went to Anandpur Sahib on the day of Vaisakhi in 1700, where he was baptised into Khalsa by Guru Gobind Singh Ji, through the Khande di Pahul or Amrit Sanchar (ceremonial initiation into Khalsa). As a youth, he spent considerable time in close companionship of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, learning weaponry, riding and other martial skills. From Bhai Mani Singh, he learnt reading and writing Gurmukhi and the interpretation of the Gurus' words. After spending two years at Anandpur, he returned to his village in 1702, before he was summoned by Guru Gobind Singh Ji at Talwandi Sabo in 1705, where he helped Bhai Mani Singh Ji in making copies of the scripture Guru Granth Sahib.

Senators question P33M worth of donations made by Pharmally to gov't in 2020

Several senators on Friday questioned the P33 million worth of donations made by Pharmally Pharmaceutical Corporation, the small firm that bagged over P8 billion worth of contracts for the procurement of medical supplies, to various government institutions in 2020.

During the continuation of the Senate blue ribbon committee hearing on the alleged irregularity, Senate Minority Leader Franklin Drilon noticed the P33 million worth of donations in the firm's audited financial statements as presented by resource person, Raymond Abrea, a certified public accountant.

“Doon sa financial statements mayroon din pong nakalagay na P33 million na donation doon po sa pagtingin ng financial statements. Sinabi ba kung saan napunta ito o kung saan nanggaling?” Drilon asked.

The Davao City mayor last week said she will not run for president in 2022 following her father President Rodrigo Duterte's decision to run for vice president, citing their agreement that only one Duterte will seek a national post.

Instead, Duterte-Caprio rallied her supporters to back her father's candidacy next year.

Despite her announcement, several analysts said this should be taken with a "grain of salt" considering her father's similar strategy in 2016.
