Test Technician
John Deere Turf Care is seeking a qualified Test Technician to support the growth in platform product testing that comes from the current test lab expansion project. In general, you will set-up and run a broad range of tests in support of EPDP. Specifically, you will:
Work with Applied Mechanics Engineers to understand the goal of the test and the required data that must be collected. You will then set-up and run tests that meets those requirements.
Instrument test vehicles to collect various data points for use by Product Engineering in product development.
Fabricate fixtures as required to appropriately hold test parts during testing.
Monitor ongoing tests to verify that all test parameters are within bounds.
Perform scheduled maintenance on test vehicles to keep durability tests running.
