Perform functional testing of products to support production line quality goals and daily demand.
Perform visual inspection of products using microscopes and other magnification devices.
Perform incoming inspection and performance testing of 'buy' parts.
Perform in-process measurements and screening testing for 'make' parts.
Execute mechanical & thermal related experiments. Which also include data analysis & reporting.
Prepare results reports and communicate daily summaries to management.
Perform Analysis of returned products (warranty) and failures during test (new products) to determine corrective actions.
Other duties maybe assigned
Requirements:
Ability to quickly learn and execute test procedures on final product assemblies.
Good attention to detail, and discipline to follow procedures.
Computer skills including MS Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and ability to learn customized test software.
Able to independently carry out instructions with little or no supervision.
Proficient with electronic assembly tools, including soldering iron and digital multimeter.
Team player available for weekend shift coverage when business needs
