You are responsible for:

· Define and document System test specifications (in close cooperation with the System Architect, Software Architect and Software Engineers)

· Guarding the quality, reliability and performance of software and systems

· Setting up and maintaining an automated test environment

· Executing system tests and writing test reports

· Participate in reviews

· Derive the work breakdown structure and estimate the required effort to implement and execute the tests (in close cooperation with the project manager)

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

· BSc / MSc degree in a relevant technical domain

· 5+ years of experience as (embedded) software test engineer

· Experienced in translating requirements into tests and with test automation (ISTQB or T-map certification is a pre)

· Demonstrated ability to have an overall system view

· Knowledge of C /C++, Python and C#/.NET

· Able to adapt quality standards to the requirements (proof of concept vs. mass production)

· Hands-on attitude, able and willing to write test software

· Well-developed sense of quality (product, documentation, relevant processes and software)

· Communicative team player who can work independently

· Well-developed documentation skill, well organized and good practice of coding style.

· Creative, flexible, open minded and analytical mindset capable of processing information and applying it to a wider context.

· Good communication skills and fluent in English as we have a global team (NL, USA, UK, India & Taiwan).
