Full Job Description

RWJBH is seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator in the Dietary-Management at the New Brunswick campus. This is a full-time, day shift position (40 hours/week).

The Room Service Dining Coordinator assures the quality of food is served according to the correct standards for accuracy of diet, portion control, garnish and temperature. Assists in assuring the correct operation of assembly line. Correctly assembles and distributes tube feedings and specialized nourishments using sanitary techniques. Assists the department in all clerical functions for patient meal service through accurate menu processing and assisting patients with menu selections. Demonstrates skills necessary to coordinate menu selections for pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients.

Requirements/ Qualifications:

Education: High school graduate or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University is preferred.
Experience: 2 years of experience in a hospital Food Service Department is required. Supervisory experience preferred.
