Full Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.
- Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for products. - Communicates quality standards and parameters to QA team, product development team, and other appropriate staff.
- Coordinates product testing processes.
- Participates in product testing.
- Identifies and analyzes issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues. - Reviews client, customer, and user feedback.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Perform Internal Audits & co-ordinate external audits (Certification body & customers) Technical And Industry Experience
- Effective technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Acros and its customers.
- A good working knowledge of the fundamental requirements of plastic processing. - A good working knowledge of ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 requirements.
Understanding of PPAP is a an added advantage
- Engineering experience in the same or similar industry, and developing leadership skills. - Some job site or factory experience required
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, Process Capability, Poka-Yoke, & Data Analysis. - Hands on experience on Root Cause Analysis (CAPA, 8D preferred)
- Hand on experience in customer complaint resolution.
- Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training - A recognized degree in the relevant engineering discipline or equivalent.
