Job Description Summary
In this entry level role as Quality Assurance Engineer you be will responsible for providing Manufacturing and/or Engineering process support in accordance with documented procedures and practices. This is a key technical role responsible for the development, implementation, improvement and continuous reinforcement of established Quality Management System practices, product specifications and applicable standards. You will collaborate primarily within the area of Manufacturing with some additional interactions with the Engineering function.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities

Drive compliance across the site which includes but is not limited to: Quality Management System, Production & Process Controls, Corrective and Preventive Actions. Additionally, drives site and modality quality related projects and initiatives, QMS implementation activities, inspection readiness and works on opportunities for improving effectiveness and efficiency. Ensures process compliance through the development of comprehensive procedures, work instructions, flowcharts, templates, checklists, and other product and process related documentation.
Lead process efficiency and compliance effectiveness through the development and implementation of equipment qualification and process validation, including Master Validation Plans (Site Level), Validation Master Plans (Product or Process specific plans), and the development of detailed process flow diagrams that describe critical process interdependencies with respect to process inputs, outputs, risks and impacts. Utilize risk management tools including but not limited to pFMEA/dFMEA.
Skilled influencer, able to communicate complex messages to others. Collaborates with colleagues in Quality and internal customers. May lead projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.
Serve as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest functional developments in own area. Contribute towards strategy and process development and ensures delivery within area of responsibility.
Use judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems that impact the function. Take a new perspective on existing solutions. Use technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Use multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
Support continuous product and process improvement through detailed failure analysis for non-conformances, and investigates, develops and implements effective and compliant solutions for product or process corrections, retrospective and remediation action plans, and for corrective and preventive actions (CAPA Program).

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of relevant experience.)
