Full Job Description
The Testing Services group provides package testing and environmental simulation services on a variety of products.

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Test Technician to join our team in Wayne, NJ. The ideal candidate is someone who works well in a team environment and who supports growth and process improvement. In this position, you will provide support to the test lab by performing a variety of routine functions involving customer contact, package testing to ISTA and ASTM standards and maintaining equipment. This position requires excellent customer service skills and entrepreneurial skills. The work environment is fast paced and challenging.

The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:

Minimum of 6-12 months experience as a test technician required.
Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills with employees and customers at all levels.
Experience with ISTA, ASTM and Amazon test methods.
Experience with basic storage testing
Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, and Internet applications with an emphasis on Excel & Word required.
Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including occasional over time.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
Makes effective decisions by analyzing information and considering priorities.
Exhibits meticulous attention to detail and is committed to producing accurate and high-quality work.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted required.
knowledge of the local packaging market is a plus
Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

This position's primary/essential functions are subject to U.S. Government ITAR compliance requirements under current government contracts. Therefore, all employees in this position must be either: 1) a U.S. citizen, permanent resident (green card holder) or refugee/asylee or 2) must be willing to allow or cooperate with the company in applying for a U.S. government license, if necessary.
