Job Summary:

The Mobile QA Engineer should be a motivated individual who is passionate about QA and eager to learn new technologies, is capable of working with limited supervision, has the ability and attitude to expand his/her role to assume more responsibilities and exceed self-described potential.

What You'll Be Doing

Design, write and execute both manual and automated tests for mobile client applications on iOS devices
Help maintain existing automated functional tests to ensure ongoing test coverage of the mobile client applications
Perform regression, ad-hoc, and edge-case testing as part of release cycles
Work closely with Product Mangers and Developers to define feature requirements with demands for quality
Troubleshoot and isolate issues, submit bugs and work with developers
Participate in release management and post-deployment testing
Ensure QA methodologies are implemented properly and recommend process improvement in both development and QA

What You'll Need

3+ years experience manual and automation testing and experience testing mobile applications on iOS or Android platforms is a plus
4+ years experience writing test cases and scenarios
Your job level will depend on your experience with Charles, Splunk, Appium, Cucumber, and Gherkins and Test Automation development.
Experience testing software across devices with fragmented capabilities and feature sets
Experience with Agile methodology, Scrum, Kanban, and tools such as Jira and Confluence
Familiarity with Java and / or Objective C / or Swift
Experience with IDE’s including IntelliJ and XCode
Proven ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks/projects
Strong critical thinking and analytical abilities
