Job Role Summary
This is an exciting position as a Test Engineer - Design Lead requiring strong leadership and equipment development skills. This is an opportunity to lead the development of new product test equipment for new consumer products. The ideal candidate is a leader with strong expertise developing and delivering equipment test solutions for a high volume manufacturing factory.
Key Job Responsibilities
Lead a team of test engineers (SW, EE, ME, TE) to define, develop and deliver electronic test equipment.
Developing and deliver test equipment (hardware and software) solutions which meet business objectives for cost, quality, schedule and other factors.
Solve technical problems both independently and with co-workers.
Present weekly program status updates to internal teams, as required.
Communicate cross-functionally with engineering and business teams, as required.
Key Qualifications Technical
Five-plus years of technical work experience, preferably in a test engineering or a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrable track record of developing engineered solutions, preferably involving both HW and SW, including definition, sourcing, bring-up, debug, production qualification and scaling.
Experience with a variety of products and test processes is desirable.
Solid understanding of system architectures for a variety of electronic products.
Hands on experience with bench equipment such as oscilloscopes, PSUs, and DMMs.
Experience in production control processes, data analysis, solid statistical skills.
