They're all powered by event driven infrastructures like IBM's Apache Kafka capabilities - helping the industry to unlock a wealth of new information from their ever-increasing amounts of data.

Would you like to help us shape the future of this rapidly growing market, including contributing code to Apache Kafka, Strimzi and other relevant open source projects? We are looking for people who enjoy agile projects and pair programming, want to help grow IBM's eminence in open source communities, and work directly with customers to help them succeed in their journey towards Event Driven solutions.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will apply your deep expertise in architecting, designing, implementing various capabilities for IBM’s Event Integration CI/CD pipeline. You will be responsible for implementing various development, testing, automation tools and infrastructure to continuously improve the engineering efficiency and minimize wastage.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

6+ years of relevant experience
3+ years of Hands on experience in developing CICD pipelines using technologies such as GitHub, Jenkins and Travis
experience with Docker build pipelines container orchestration technologies such as OpenShift container Platform and Kubernetes
experience in DevOps practices, implementing Automation and secure engineering tooling across the pipeline
Experienced in using version control tools like GitHub
Competency in Agile development, communication skills, autonomy, curiosity, and team spirit
Familiarity with Event Driven infrastructure like Kafka
Competency in Agile development
Proven communication skills
Autonomy, curiosity, and team spirit

Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise

Familiarity with Event Driven infrastructure like Kafka
Knowledge in Openshift, operators etc.
Experienced in working with distributed teams
