In this role, you will:

Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
Influence and train the team to have a testing mind set and help them in Test Automations
Develop, direct, and assist in the preparation of moderately complex computer solutions in the maintenance and modification of new and currently used applications.
Play a technical SME role and participate in code reviews, design reviews, internal testing sign off for deliverables from EGS.
Analyze requirements and provide development estimates across project and BAU activities
Be the liaison with the onshore team and ensure communication and reporting of delivery from the offshore team
Review Requirements Documents and develop implementation strategies that preserve the availability, performance, integrity, stability, and scalability of systems
Produce architecture and design documents to effectively communicate the solution to the business and provide direction for the development teams and infrastructure partners
Ensuring quality and security of the solutions and address any remediation as needed
Collaborate with the engineering team counter parts to analyze, investigate and resolve open issues. Also, provide technical expertise to support team during incident/problem resolution.
Research new innovative tools and technologies and lead proof-of-concepts to drive adoption
Understand, manage and document the solutions suiting to non-functional requirements
Required Qualifications:
At least 12+ years of hands on experience on application development and implementation experience using Java/J2EE, Spring- Framework v3 or newer - Spring Core, Spring Data, Spring Security, Spring AOP and Spring MVC, Javascript, Javascript Frameworks - React, JPA and Oracle SQL,Experience with RESTful Web services.
2+ years extensive working experience on Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF).
2+ years of hands-on development with ReactJS, Redux.
2+ years of experience in Test-driven development.
Experience in writing ES6 Javascript code.
Experience with NodeJS (specifically NPM)
Experience in using WebPack
Experience with jUnit
Experience with Subversion, Github
Experience with Maven or Gradle
Experience in planning, definition, and high-level solution design and exploring alternative solutions
Effective collaboration with team members to define System Specification and Design Workshops
Should evaluate emerging technology and recommend best practices for the completeness of solution
Experience with deploying applications in Pivotal Cloud Foundry, WebSphere Application Server or Tomcat
Experience identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities, mitigation experience with Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) Top 10
Should be well versed with test driven development and be knowledgeable on associated tools and practices
Should be able to understand business requirements and translate to technical design
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Ability to Work directly with US partner teams
Ability to lead by example, motivating team to produce excellent results
Should be good with SDLC processes and agile methodologies
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with SONAR and Fortify
Experience with Clean Coding concepts
Working knowledge of IDEs like Eclipse IDE,VSCode IDE
Working knowledge of Agile tools like Jira, Confluence
