What will you be doing?
Core JAVA knowledge will be really helpful as testing is carried out on JAVA Projects related to Mobile Performance of Applications.
Creation of documented Performance Approach for new feature.
Participate in discussions with functional team to understand the JAVA Junit tests along-with required Pre and Post conditions.
Creation of JAVA Protocol performance test cases.
Co-ordination with infrastructure and development team to get performance test environment working end to end for new project.
Create Automation code using Java or any other language that could work as accelerators.
Work on enhancements needed to the repository and framework to enable other team members, work on automation scripting.
Work as a back-up for the LM during his absence and own a specific track of activities set by the LM.
Constant communication and follow-ups with various stake holders to track deliverable during testing cycle and dry-run phases where applicable. Escalate issues to LM as appropriate
What We’re Looking For:
Awareness of Retail Banking Domain and Prior experience of testing in this domain.
Must have an extensive working knowledge of HP Load Runner with MQ and JAVA protocols and working knowledge of Oracle databases.
Must have extensive experience in scoping / designing performance tests on a number of different technologies.
Must have extensive experience in running, capturing results, analysis and reporting of performance tests.
Must have very good communication skills.
Should have exposure to Agile methodologies, gradle and Jenkins set-up.
Should possess high analytical and problem solving skills. Quite often the role will require an individual to impact assess critical and complex performance testing problems (such as framework/approach/interdependencies/GUI design/test data to be used etc) in short time durations hence having significant knowledge on the core JAVA will be the key.
Minimum years of experience on Retail Banking domain with knowledge of Performance Testing Life-cycle.
BE / MCA with IT experience in Software Testing.
