SOFTWARE TEST ENGINEER:
At Experis Game Solutions, we partner with developers and publishers of video games on all platforms to improve testing coverage using the latest technology. With more than 12 years of QA partnerships, we have shipped over 100 games and believe in testing smart and gaming hard!! We are looking for a Software Test Engineer to join our growing team where you will utilize the resources provided to us by world-class publishers and technology leaders to build an environment that keeps skillful people happy through challenge and work-life balance.

Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to the following:
Ownership of one or more game areas and features
Applies appropriate testing methodologies for areas of ownership
Create test cases, plan test coverage and identify risks
Create and perform manual and automated test scripts
Communicate with developer or production regarding areas of ownership, bugs or build deliveries
Use data to analyze and drive test coverage
Train and mentor Test Associates
Review work done by Test Associates to ensure accuracy and consistency
Solve problems independently and shares solutions with across teams
Proactively escalates risks, concerns, or larger problems appropriately to Test Lead
May present training, process improvements or postmortems.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
Strong knowledge of personal computers, applications software, and operating systems
Ownership of features or areas of a product
Experience leading, coaching and mentoring junior staff
Experience in software test in the gaming industry
Proficient with word processing and spreadsheet applications
Demonstrated investigative and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with software development product lifecycle
Must have the ability to learn new information quickly
Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
Technical training certification, Bachelor's Degree, Associate degree, or equivalent work experience/training

Preferred Skills:
Data analysis software
Microsoft Office Suite
Bachelor's degree
