Detailed responsibilities as follows:
Participate in the development of the testing methodologies/ model and ensure adherence to this MSS standards
Work with the Product Portfolio Test Manager to set up and provide regional or local direction of testing activities to meet the goal of improved quality and service availability in the live environment
Work to drive forward improvements in testing process including automation of testing, regular reviews and improvements to testing processes
Develop and maintain high quality relationships with customers both internal and external to the MSS
Coordinate UAT execution by monitoring the team’s adherence to the test strategy and test scripts
Ensure that any issues are addressed in an appropriate manner and continuous improvements are made to standards and procedures in agreement with the relevant teams in the MSS
Define requirements for test environments and engage appropriate parties to ensure that the necessary components are in place before testing commences
Manage the testing process and organise the review and analysis of appropriate documentation
Requirements:
A high quality degree level education in Computer Science, Business Administration or related fields – highly desirable
Have a good knowledge of the programme/project and test lifecycle
Understand and interpret complex business and IT requirements
Strong analytical skills and an ability to find logical solutions to problems and manage to resolution
Proven ability to prioritise competing demands and work with minimal direction
Substantial experience of functional, integration, UAT, MOT and Non-Functional testing and test management
Track record working within a variety of testing methodologies i.e. Agile, Hybrid and Waterfall
Good working knowledge of functional test automation and test management tools and practices, in particular HP Quality Centre, and Quick Test Professional as well as collaboration tools; JIRA and confluence
Able to demonstrate capability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders and a globally dispersed team
Effectively co-ordinate delivery of services involving elements delivered by others
