POSITION AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ability to investigate and analyze information then provide problem determination and resolution.
Provide system-level support of multi-user operating systems, hardware and software tools, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of these systems.
Manage, maintain, and review security documentation and auditing.
Stays connected with industry best practices and vendor specific application methodologies.
Research, plan, install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade operating systems, and hardware and software interfaces with the operating systems.
Work as a team member with other technical staff, such as networking to ensure connectivity and compatibility between systems.
Write and maintain system documentation.
Responsible for capacity planning, disaster recovery, and security, where necessary.
Possess extensive experience with operating systems, network protocols, systems programming, and configurations, and/or hubs, switches, and routers.
Work with end users on desktop OS support when necessary.
Will require on-call coverage responsibilities.

REQUIREMENTS:

BS Degree with a minimum of 4-years progressive experience required/preferred.
Microsoft O365 Administration and Knowledge
O365 Defender Knowledge
Azure Active Directory Administration Knowledge
Exchange, InTune, Azure Rights Management
Addigy, ConnectWise, CrowdStrike knowledge preferred
SSO, SAML, JIRA Knowledge
AWS knowledge preferred
Microsoft Licensing
Experience with Linux is required (99% of system is Linux based)
Understanding of shell scripts and automation required
Strong ability to document system errors and denote updates
Strong analytical skills
Timely communication skills
Solid knowledge and experience in Mac OS and Windows OS for desktop computers

HOURS OF WORK:

Employee is expected to work a minimum of 40 hours per week during normal business hours
Additional hours may be required to meet job requirements
Salary is intended to cover all hours worked to meet the requirements of position
Position is exempt from overtime compensation requirements

LOCATION/TRAVEL:

Principal place of work for employee could be Remote, Franklin, TN, or Cookeville, TN
Employee may be required to work at customer sites or other locations
